Position Overview eDist is seeking an experienced and talented Laravel Developer to work on our flagship B2B/B2C platform. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Full Stack Laravel Developer with a proven track record of adapting to existing projects and building greenfield projects. Responsibilities: Create new features for our existing application using coding standards and best practices dictated by the Lead Engineer. Assist the Lead Engineer in directing the efforts of additional engineering resources that may be added to the project. This will require that this developer can understand core concepts, as related by the Lead Engineer, and then communicate them to additional team members. Create API endpoints for consumption by front end team. Create Laravel Jobs, Middleware, Traits, Handlers, Providers, and Services to support applications. Investigate defects and implement code fixes in the current platform. Participate in daily standups and team collaboration. Follow company standards in managing work via Jira Software. Review peer code and assist in DevOps release process. Qualifications: 5+ years of recent experience in Laravel 7/8 or better 5+ years experience in creating Full Stack APIs in Laravel 5+ years of LAMP stack experience with MVC and REST API 2 years in Vue.js 3 years of Docker local development Composer/Node GitLab/GIT AJAX/JS MySQL Pluses: CI/CD (with GitLab/Kubernetes even better) JSONAPI PhpUnit ESlint GCP/Kubernetes Compensation & Benefits: We take pride in our work and believe in rewarding our team members in addition to offering a full range of benefits: comprehensive healthcare benefits, dental, vision, life, PTO, 401 (k) with company match, and vibrant company culture.
