Committed to breaking the cycle of poverty, the organization empowers families to lead productive, healthy, and successful lives.BASIC FUNCTIONThe Associate Manager, Corporate Donor Relations is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of corporate and community partners to support the achievement of United Way of Greater Union County annual fundraising and engagement goals. This role focuses on strengthening relationships, expanding workplace giving campaigns, stewarding donors and volunteers, and supporting strategic community partnerships that advance the organization’s mission and impact.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIESManage a portfolio of corporate and community partner accounts, including analyzing campaign performance, establishing goals, and monitoring progress toward fundraising objectivesIdentify opportunities to strengthen and expand existing partnerships through employee engagement, volunteerism, sponsorships, and philanthropic supportSupport and coordinate workplace giving campaigns, including volunteer training, campaign planning, preparation of briefing materials, meeting agendas, follow-up communications, and event coordinationAssist in cultivating, soliciting, stewarding, and maintaining strong relationships with corporate partners, donors, and community stakeholdersAnalyze campaign and donor data to develop strategies that improve engagement, retention, and revenue growthContribute to the development and execution of customized engagement and fundraising plans for key corporate accountsConduct outreach and stewardship activities with individual and mid-level donors, including donor appreciation and relationship-building effortsPrepare briefing materials and provide support for executive leadership and volunteer solicitors participating in donor and corporate engagement meetingsCoordinate recognition and stewardship initiatives for workplace volunteers, campaign ambassadors, and donorsMaintain accurate and timely donor and campaign information within the organization’s database and reporting systemsSupervise and support Sponsored Employees and campaign volunteers during annual fundraising initiatives, providing coaching and guidance as neededAssist with departmental projects, special initiatives, and community engagement activities as assignedParticipate in organizational meetings, cross-departmental collaborations, and staff engagement activities to support the overall mission of the organizationQUALIFICATIONSOne to three years of experience in fundraising, nonprofit development, customer relations, or community engagementStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience working with donor databases or CRM systemsExperience working with volunteers, donors, and community stakeholders at multiple organizational levelsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAbility to establish and achieve fundraising and engagement goalsStrong analytical and organizational skills, including the ability to create tracking systems and interpret campaign dataEffective problem-solving, negotiation, and relationship management skillsAbility to coordinate projects independently and collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and community partnersProven initiative and ability to carry projects through completion with minimal supervisionExcellent interpersonal, teamwork, and constituent service skills with a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusionStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience supervising volunteers, interns, or staff is considered an assetBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insurancePaid time offParental leaveExperience:customer relations: 1 year (Required)non-profit development: 1 year (Required)MicroSoft: 3 years (Preferred)CRM software: 2 years (Required)Ability to Commute:Rahway, NJ 07065 (Preferred)Work Location: In person
