Commercial Vehicle Sales Manager
OverviewThe Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing and directing all aspects of the Sprinter Van sales department. This role involves leading a team of sales representatives to achieve maximum profitability and customer satisfaction.ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and motivate the Sprinter Van sales team to achieve performance goals and deliver an exceptional guest experience.Oversee the full sales process — from lead management to delivery — ensuring consistency, efficiency, and compliance.Maintain a customer-focused culture by resolving issues promptly and ensuring every interaction reflects our hospitality values.Manage inventory levels and vehicle mix to support sales targets and minimize aged stock.Analyze sales results and market trends to identify growth opportunities and improve profitability.QualificationsDemonstrates a high "HQ" (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness & optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity.3+ years of experience as an Automotive Sales Manager or 5+ years in an F&I or Floor Manager role.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.Proven track record of achieving sales targets and exceeding customer expectations.Strong knowledge of the automotive industry and sales processes.Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant tools.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Physical RequirementsSitting: The majority of the workday is spent sitting at a desk, using a computer and phone.Standing and Walking: There may be times when the sales manager needs to stand, walk around the dealership, or attend meetings.Reaching and Bending: The manager may need to reach for files, supplies, or equipment.Lifting: Occasionally, there might be a need to lift or move documents, supplies, or equipment.Benefits Of Working At SwickardCareer Path – Swickard isn't just a J-O-B.
