You will provide high‑visibility customer support through on‑site installations, system diagnoses, and the service and repair of complex systems and equipment. PSEs work closely with customers and R&D teams to develop leading‑edge processes used to manufacture advanced semiconductor chips, and create hypothesis experiments and design of experiments (DOEs). You’ll analyze data with statistics and compile reports with high‑level conclusions on technically challenging process engineering experiments. Additionally, you will troubleshoot complex problems, perform root‑cause analyses, and resolve difficult process engineering and customer product issues. Process Support Engineers work across technologies such as: Chemical Vapor Deposition, Atomic Layer Deposition, Plasma Reactive Ion Etch, Physical Vapor Deposition, Anneal and Implant.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nServe as liaison between the customer and the Business Unit for assigned projects, ensuring clear understanding of customer issues and delivery of applicable solutions.\n\nWhen necessary, work closely with customer to optimize tool performance to meet customer process and integration requirements.\n\nCheck and approve operational quality of system equipment. Instruct customers in the operation and maintenance of the system.\n\nProvide highly visible customer support through the performance of on‑site installation, as well as overseeing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems.\n\nMaintain knowledge of 3 or more processes on 1 or more technologies.\n\nExperience Requirements\n\nMinimum 5 years in Semiconductor Capital Equipment or similar high‑tech industry.\n\nPreferred experience: 3+ years in Applications or Process Engineering.\n\nBachelor’s Degree in STEM field.\n\nLocation\nDallas, TX (on‑site)\n\nTravel: Yes, 25% of the time.\n\nRelocation eligible: Yes.\n\nTime type: Full time.\n\nEmployee type: Assignee / Regular.\n\nSalary\nThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
