Travel Emergency Nurse (RN) in Eudora, KS

Provide critical emergency care as a Registered Nurse specializing in the Emergency Room at a large, well-established hospital in Lawrence, Kansas. Enjoy a blend of historic charm and modern amenities, with plenty of outdoor activities and excellent dining options.Key Responsibilities:Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients with diverse and urgent medical needs.Assess, plan, and implement individualized care in accordance with established protocols.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to stabilize and treat critical patients efficiently.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient status and interventions.Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with ER nursing best practices.Qualifications and Desired Experience:Active Registered Nurse license in Kansas or a compact license.Minimum of 3 years of experience in Emergency Room nursing; 5+ years preferred.BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required.Experience in a large healthcare facility strongly preferred.Ability to work nights (1900-0700) and 36 hours per week.Flexibility to cover occasional weekends, holidays, and one on-call shift per week.Must be oriented on Mondays; credentialing completed prior to assignment start.This is a travel nursing position, ideal for candidates who can relocate to Lawrence for a mid to late May start date. While floating is rare, adaptability and strong critical thinking skills are essential.
