We achieve this by partnering with customers to solve their most pressing day-to-day challenges and always holding ourselves to a higher standard of product quality, exceptional service, and unmatched support.Summary/objectiveWe are seeking a full-time Shop Tech in our Cincinnati OfficeEssential Functions:Ensure smooth delivery of equipment to customers, loading and unloading.Cleaning of parts and componentsBuild crates and utilize shipping supplies necessary for proper delivery of equipment.Assist shop on general duties which include:Assembling components and kits for stock requirementsTransporting and delivering equipmentInstrument Repairs & Refrigeration Work on customer-owned equipment (refrigeration training preferred)-Harvesting and testing parts of old instruments-Refurbish instrumentation for resale-Crate/Uncrate instrumentation shipping in and outCompetencies:Technical Expertise: Familiar with AC and DC electrical theory, circuit analysis, and component-level repair.Professional Background: Proven experience in the biomedical service field or a similarly regulated technical sector (e.g., industrial, automation).Operational Mindset: Familiar with Lean Manufacturing principles (waste reduction, continuous improvement) and experience applying them.Soft Skills: Demonstrates high initiative as a self-motivated self-starter; able to identify process gaps and implement solutions with minimal supervision.Documentation: Strong technical writing skills and documenting findings.
