This position enables mission‑critical capabilities within the National System of Geospatial‑Intelligence (NSG) , Allied System of Geospatial‑Intelligence (ASG) , and Federal partners by ensuring systems are thoroughly tested, reliable, and mission‑ready.\n\nYour Role\nAs a Mid‑Level Test Systems Engineer, you will execute application, system, and integration testing across cloud, on‑premise, and hybrid systems. You will work within Agile and DevOps environments to validate functionality, support defect resolution, and ensure systems meet operational and technical requirements.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nPerform test and evaluation activities across NSG, ASG, and Federal Agency environments\n\nExecute testing of applications and APIs within DevOps pipelines using established quality assurance practices\n\nPerform independent integration testing of system software and hardware to ensure compliance with requirements\n\nPlan and execute manual test cases and automated test scripts using scripting and programming languages\n\nSupport defect identification, investigation, and resolution during testing activities\n\nUtilize test management and defect‑tracking tools to support reporting and quality assurance\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nBachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM field , or equivalent experience:\n\n4 additional years of experience with no degree, or\n\n2 additional years with a non‑STEM degree\n\n6+ years of experience supporting systems integration and testing in government or industry, including:\n\nLarge, complex System‑of‑Systems , or\n\nService‑Oriented Architecture (SOA) environments across cloud, on‑premise, or hybrid infrastructures\n\nExperience with test management and defect‑tracking tools\n\nExperience working within traditional, Agile, and DevOps development environments and testing strategies\n\nActive TS/SCI clearance , with ability to obtain SCI and successfully pass a polygraph\n\nDesired Qualifications\n\nMaster's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM field\n\nExperience with tools and technologies such as:\n\nJMeter, Jenkins, Docker, Postman, Swagger, Nexus, Apigee\n\nGitHub / GitLab\n\nJava, Bash, Curl, XML, JSON, SQL, Python, JavaScript\n\nAWS and C2S\n\nWorking knowledge of Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) processes, tools, and languages\n\nWorking knowledge of software development frameworks\n\nPrior NGA and/or NSG/ASG program or project experience\n\nPrior IC or DoD program or project experience\n\nWhy Mission Intelligence Group\nAt Mission Intelligence Group, engineers are trusted to focus on mission outcomes, not bureaucracy.
