Our mission is to break down barriers to access and build STEM proficiencies at scale for all students, worldwide.\nTHE JOB\nJunior Content Developer\nJOB DESCRIPTION\nWe are seeking a highly skilled content and curriculum designer to join our team and play a crucial role in the development of math and science content, both in VR and in accompanying materials. The ideal candidate will have a passion for experiential education, learning design, and problem-solving, and the ability to think spatially, systemically, and creatively when designing learning experiences.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nDesign new math and science modules in VR :\nResearch, design, scope, and script standards-aligned learning experiences\nLead the production of multiple modules simultaneously\nReview and refine existing content:\nFully own the content of existing modules\nMake recommendations for changes as needed\nDevelop, refine, and update curriculum materials\nCreate and adjust multimedia materials for teacher and student use\nAdvocate for content integrity, module quality, and continuous improvement\nFully own and advocate for the accuracy, depth, and rigor of each module\nEmbrace the iterative nature of high-quality content development\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams\nWork closely with content developers, engineers, artists, and instructional specialists to ensure clarity and alignment\nCommunicate frequently and effectively\nREQUIREMENTS\nCommitment to transforming and reimagining STEM education\nBachelor's degree in a STEM field\nProven experience in instructional and/or interactive design\nWritten and verbal communication skills, with a talent for explaining complex mathematical and scientific concepts clearly and concisely\nAbility to think spatially and creatively about STEM concepts\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nExceptional time management skills; ability to prioritize and handle concurrent projects\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\nAbility to flexibly meet across time zones (EST and PST)\nNICE TO HAVES\nA background in engineering\nFamiliarity with VR hardware and software, such as Pico, Quest, or similar platforms\nExperience with project management tools such as Jira\nADDITIONAL INFORMATION\nFull-time role, fully remote or hybrid (if based near our San Francisco office)\nCompetitive salary commensurate with experience\nEQUAL OPPORTUNITY WORKPLACE\nPrisms is an equal-opportunity employer committed to providing an equitable and inclusive work environment that ensures that all applicants and team members are treated with dignity and respect.
