In addition, the Transmission Lineworker may be required to perform tasks generally associated with lower rated classifications.\r\nThis position requires mechanical aptitude, manual and finger dexterity, the ability to communicate effectively, follow instructions and climb and work on transmission poles and structures.\r\nStarting Rate of Pay: $56.06 per hour\r\nPOSITION REQUIREMENTS\r\nThe successful candidate must meet the requirements of a fully rated Lineworker 1 or the equivalent. IBEW represented Eversource NH applicants with a minimum of two years of experience in the construction, installation and maintenance of transmission level circuits and equipment shall receive first consideration for this position.\r\n\r\n\r\nCommercial Driver's license (Full Class A license) and safe driving record\r\n\r\n\r\nHigh school diploma or equivalent (GED)\r\n\r\n\r\nSuccessful completion of the CAST aptitude test and an agility assessment, if applicable.\r\n\r\n\r\nWill have storm restoration and emergency assignments and must be available to work overtime for these assignments. The employee weight limit for this position is 300 pounds.\r\nThis position is subject to the provisions of the Transmission Lineworker Agreement. This agreement details employee work hour schedule from 7:00 a.m. through 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Employees may work a 4/10 schedule based on work needs. The specific hours of a 4/10 schedule may occur at any time or frequency throughout the year.\r\nEmployees will use Legends Drive, Hooksett, New Hampshire as a base reporting location. They may also, as deemed necessary by the company, report to specific job sites from the Tilton AWC territory south to the New Hampshire/Massachusetts border, and from the Keene AWC territory easterly to the Portsmouth AWC territory.
