This position focuses primarily on performing preventative and corrective maintenance on a fleet of forklifts and floor scrubbers, while providing backup support for broader facility equipment operations. You will be responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and maintaining safe working conditions. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to develop your technical expertise while contributing directly to seamless facility operations and client satisfaction.What your day-to-day will look like:Perform corrective maintenance on a fleet of 33 reach trucks and sit-down forklifts, including wheel replacements, hydraulic line replacements, electrical troubleshooting, and maintaining camera and sensor systemsExecute scheduled preventative maintenance on all forklifts to ensure optimal performance and longevityMaintain an inventory of spare parts and order additional parts as needed to support timely repairsProvide daily reports of repairs completed and document maintenance activitiesCoordinate with external vendors to perform repairs that cannot be completed in-house and monitor the quality and pricing of their workSupport Facilities staff as needed on all facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automationComply with departmental policy for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials and maintain a clean and safe workplaceRequired Qualifications:2-4 years of experience maintaining and repairing forkliftsDemonstrated ability to diagnose and repair a variety of forklift failures, including those resulting from wear and impact eventsWorking knowledge of computer applications including Word and ExcelHigh School diploma or GED equivalentAbility to bend, sit, kneel, squat, stand, reach, and lay as required to access equipment components for extended periods of timeWillingness to work exposed to heat, sunlight, rain, cold, and during both daylight and night-time hours as neededPreferred Qualifications:Certified Forklift Technician credentialsOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certificationExperience with floor scrubber maintenance and repairFamiliarity with facility maintenance systems and building equipmentStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsLocation: Middletown, DEWork Shift: 1st shiftWhat's in it for you:Join an industry leader and shape the future of commercial real estateDeep investment in cutting-edge technology to power your workComprehensive and competitive benefits planA supportive, caring, and diverse work environment designed for your growth and well-beingThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
