Job Description Billing Clerk Carlsbad, CA 92010 Contract | 3–5 Months *Open to Temp to Hire for the right fit!! | 100% Onsite Monday – Friday from 7:30am to 4:15pm (flexible hours after training is complete available) Pay Rate: $17.50–$19.00/hour DOEPosition Summary A veteran owned organization in Carlsbad is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to support daily billing and accounting operations. This position is responsible for compiling, computing, and recording billing, accounting, statistical, and other numerical data for invoicing purposes. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a high level of accuracy when managing billing documentation and records.Key Responsibilities Compile, compute, and record billing, accounting, statistical, and other numerical data for billing purposes Prepare and process billing invoices for services rendered and shipments delivered Review invoices and billing documents for completeness and accuracy Maintain organized billing records and supporting documentation Communicate effectively with internal departments regarding billing inquiries and discrepancies Perform data entry and administrative support related to billing operations Manage workload efficiently while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment Demonstrate strong follow-through and attention to detail in all assigned tasksQualifications & Technical Skills High School Diploma or GED required Minimum of two (2) years of billing experience required Extremely proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to learn new software systems quickly Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities Highly detail-oriented with strong accuracy and problem-solving skills Dependable, adaptable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment Strong data entry, recordkeeping, and administrative support experience Company Description Our Professional Division works with clients as a stakeholder in their hiring strategy and process.
