Complies with all company safety rules and regulations. Demonstrates the ability to be a part of the production team by communicating and working within the parameters of the production department under the direction of the department supervisor.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nIncludes but is not limited to the following:\nPulling and sorting of all lumber production on Green Chain, Sort Chain or Clear Chain.\nMaking sure all lumber is pulled into its designated load; According to size, length, and grade. All units need stacked to the correct height and width.\nMake sure stickers are properly located.\nMake sure the resaw and trim is properly stacked into stable units. Trim unit will need to be banded.\nWork with other pullers as a team to ensure a safe and efficient production flow.\nHelp ensure that all employees maintain a safe working environment and safe working habits.\nKnow and utilize all lock-out/tag-out procedures associated with your job duties.\nWhen time allows, carry stickers, straighten loads, band units for forklift and clean up.\nReport any potential machinery defects immediately.\nReport any potential safety risks immediately.\nKeep work area clean and orderly.\nDowntime is clean-up and minor maintenance time.\nWhy Join Our Team?\nOur family-owned sawmill has been a proud part of the local community for more than eight decades.
