When your time together is up, you’ll help your students return to their classroom(s) and pick up your next group for tutoring. Contact us at 866-859-2825 orjoin@ampact.us.\n\nCore Responsibilities\n\nBe a caring adult who's focused on helping children thrive\n\nLead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule to ensure students receive support\n\nTrack student progress and meet regularly with the school's on-site coach\n\nConduct skill assessments and enter student scores in data software\n\nCommit to your own growth through coaching and training\n\nShare your experience with the community\n\nEssential Qualifications\nBy the time you begin your service with Math Corps, you should be:\n\nDependable and have a history of good attendance\n\nAble to follow instructions and make improvements based on feedbackProficient in basic computer skills (like email and navigating online)\n\nFluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing\n\n18 years of age or older with a highschool diploma or equivalent\n\nA citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States\n\nAbility to succesfully complete a background check\n\nSchedule\nWe are currently hiring for the 2026-27 school year. Positions run August 2026-June 2027.\n\n35 Hours per week (less in weeks with holidays or school release days)\n\nDaytime hours (correspond with school start and end times)\n\nMonday-Friday (no weekends)\n\nTime off on holidays and school release days\n\nPart-time positions are also available at 25 hours per week!\n\nCompensation & Perks Package\nFull-timeAmeriCorps members receive a paycheck (stipend) every two weeks.
