Previous experience operating Mobius trimming equipment or similar commercial cannabis trimming machinery is highly preferred.\n\nEssential Responsibilities\nMobius Machine Operation\nOperate Mobius trimming equipment according to company SOPs and production requirements.\nSet up and prepare trimming equipment prior to each production run.\nFeed cannabis material through the trimming system at appropriate rates to maintain quality and efficiency.\nMonitor equipment throughout production and make adjustments as necessary.\nEnsure proper machine settings based on product condition, moisture level, and desired finished quality.\nSafely start, stop, and operate equipment according to manufacturer and company procedures.\nProduct Quality\nContinuously inspect trimmed cannabis for quality, consistency, and appearance.\nAdjust machine operation when necessary to prevent over-trimming or product damage.\nSeparate and properly handle finished flower, trim, and other material generated during production.\nCommunicate product quality concerns to Post-Harvest leadership.\nEnsure finished material meets company quality standards before moving to the next stage of production.\nProduction & Efficiency\nMeet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards.\nTrack material entering and exiting the trimming process.\nAccurately record production weights, output, and processing information.\nMinimize product loss and waste throughout machine operation.\nIdentify opportunities to improve throughput and trimming efficiency.\nEquipment Cleaning & Maintenance\nBreak down and thoroughly clean Mobius equipment between production runs as required.\nSanitize machine components according to company SOPs.\nPerform routine equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance.\nIdentify mechanical issues and communicate repair needs to leadership or Maintenance.\nMaintain a clean and organized machine area to minimize downtime and contamination.\nInventory & Compliance\nMaintain accurate weights and documentation throughout the trimming process.\nEnsure cannabis material remains properly identified and separated throughout production.\nFollow all company SOPs and Michigan cannabis compliance requirements.\nAssist with inventory reconciliation and production documentation as needed.\nImmediately report product, weight, or inventory discrepancies.\nTeam Collaboration\nWork closely with Post-Harvest Leads, Trimmers, Inventory, Cultivation, and Compliance teams.\nCoordinate production runs based on harvest and post-harvest schedules.\nAssist with manual trimming and other post-harvest activities when needed.\nCommunicate equipment, quality, or production concerns promptly to leadership.\nQualifications\nRequired\nPrevious experience operating production, manufacturing, agricultural, or processing equipment.\nStrong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn machinery quickly.\nExcellent attention to detail and commitment to product quality.\nAbility to follow detailed SOPs and equipment procedures.\nAbility to work efficiently in a high-volume production environment.\nStrong reliability, attendance, and communication skills.\nMust be at least 21 years of age.\nPreferred\nPrevious experience operating Mobius cannabis trimming equipment highly preferred.\nExperience operating other commercial cannabis trimming machines.\nPrevious cannabis trimming or post-harvest experience.\nExperience troubleshooting and performing basic maintenance on production machinery.\nExperience in cannabis cultivation, food production, manufacturing, or another regulated production environment.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to stand for extended periods throughout the workday.\nAbility to bend, kneel, reach, twist, and perform repetitive movements.\nAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to safely operate and clean mechanical production equipment.\nAbility to perform repetitive hand and arm movements.\nAbility to work around cannabis plant material, dust, and strong odors.\nAbility to wear required PPE throughout the workday.\nWhat We Offer\nCompetitive hourly pay based on experience\nMedical, dental, and vision insurance\nPaid Time Off\nEmployee discount program\nStable full-time schedule\nCareer advancement opportunities within Post-Harvest and Cultivation operations\nHands-on training and equipment experience\nTeam-oriented work environment\nApply Today\nIf you're mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and enjoy operating equipment in a fast-paced production environment, we'd love to hear from you.
