JOB SUMMARY Under the supervision of the Director of Dining this position will be responsible for serving at mealtimes for their scheduled shift and in-between meals. They are responsible for cleaning and prepping for the following meal. JOB DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES Assists in the preparation of salads, dessert and fruit as directed. Thoroughly cleans the dining room and server area in accordance with company policies and procedures and applicable local, state, and federal rules and regulations. Performs duties in a timely fashion, and within the approved time frames. Exercises good judgment in preparation of proper food quantities and timely preparation. Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor, assistant manager, and/or manager. Completes mandatory training and/ or routine training per facility policy such as HIPPA, abuse, resident’s rights, dementia, ethics, and emergency preparedness. Busing tables in-between courses, after service busing tables, and resetting for the following meals. In-between services servers are to clean the dining room and server areas. Cleaning of pots and pans, as well as dishes. Weekly deliming of the dish machine. Sweeping and moping nightly.
