We focus on innovation and customer success.\n\nThe Role\nWe are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineering Intern to support production, quality improvement, and equipment‑related projects. The internship provides hands‑on exposure to manufacturing engineering, equipment design support, and continuous improvement initiatives. This is an on‑site role in Mound House, NV and will not be considered for candidates who do not live in the area.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nCreate component and assembly models and drawings.\n\nExecute Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and production deviations.\n\nUpdate operator and parts manual documentation.\n\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nTravel to APPLIED facilities as needed.\n\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nIdeal For This Role If You\n\nAre well organized, process and data driven, and have solid analytical skills.\n\nWork well independently and as part of a team on projects.\n\nAre proactive and display a strong sense of urgency.\n\nPhysical Requirements\n\nCommunicate information and ideas clearly.\n\nPossess mechanical dexterity for equipment operation.\n\nFrequently move items weighing up to 35 lbs.\n\nObserve details at close range (within a few feet).\n\nExperience and Qualifications\n\nPursuing bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.\n\nMechanical aptitude.\n\nPrior experience in a manufacturing environment, engineering internship, or co‑op is preferred.\n\nHands‑on experience using precision metrology tools.\n\nExperience using SolidWorks and CAD is preferred.\n\nWell organized, process and data driven, with the ability to make decisions and act on them.\n\nSolid analytical skills and proactive nature.\n\nEqual Opportunity/Affirmative Action\nWe are an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
