This is not a traditional project management role the TPM owns the what, why, and how of complex, cross-functional programs, bridging business strategy with the engineering required to build and scale modern data platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesTranslate enterprise strategy into prioritized engineering backlogs and actionable roadmapsDefine functional requirements across the full data lifecycle (ingestion, transformation, analytics)Write and review Technical Solution Designs (TSDs) and functional specificationsManage cross-team dependencies and resolve technical blockers across Infrastructure, Security, and BI teamsMonitor and optimize cloud infrastructure spend with a FinOps mindset (e.g., Microsoft Fabric capacity)Communicate program health, risks, and ROI clearly to both executive leadership and engineering teamsDrive data product adoption through documentation, training, and end-user feedback loopsChampion architectural integrity and advocate for technical debt reductionRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or equivalent fieldBackground in Software or Data Engineering (strongly preferred)Deep knowledge of modern data stacks ETL/ELT, Cloud Data Warehousing, API design, Data ModelingProficiency with Microsoft Azure & Fabric ecosystemExpertise in Agile / Scaled Agile delivery frameworksExceptional ability to communicate technical concepts to both C-suite and engineering audiencesProven track record managing programs through ambiguity and high-stakes system environmentsAbility to collaborate effectively across global, distributed teamsMetasys Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
