{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"1a0d5da9f85438a48bf3bd73","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/1a0d5da9f85438a48bf3bd73","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/1a0d5da9f85438a48bf3bd73","title":"Software Engineer Intern, Support","description":"Software Engineer Intern, Support\n\nSmart Data Solutions, a leading provider of data management, claim routing and workflow solutions to health plans and TPAs, is looking for interns to join our team!\n\nWhat you’ll be doing?\n\nAnalysis & Resolution\nManage customer accounts to ensure processes are working as expected and identify potential problems.\nUnderstands and follows Smart Data Solutions’ (SDS) workflow and associated technical systems.\nUnderstand and follows all assigned customer workflows including import and export processes.\nInterpret customer business processes, analyze problems, and recommend programmable solutions.\nApply analytical and business knowledge to solve customer specified problems adhering to SDS coding standards and policies.\n\nCommunication\n\nCommunicates to customers (via emails and phone calls) about SDS workflows.\nCommunicates to client of any critical production issues that may affect a customer’s production process.\nCommunicates to team lead, manager or COO on any critical production issues related to the client.\nAdheres to SDS’s courteous and professional, written and verbal, communication standards.\nConsistently high rating on customer satisfaction surveys\nProvides timely responses to all assigned tickets in accordance with SDS policies\nIdentifies and escalates high priority tickets to appropriately support clients\nPerforms other related duties as assigned.\n\nProject Development\n\nAssist with the development and maintenance of new and existing clients\nDocument updates, testing, and technical production monitoring plans\nDraft internal and client-facing descriptions and diagrams of workflow processes\n\nWork Patterns\n\nResolve assigned tasks in an efficient and effective manner.\nWorks independently with minimal guidance\nLeverages the expertise of other developers in the team on specific modules\nTracks and bills all applicable support hours. (Billing)\nPerforms other related duties as assigned.\n\nThe duties set forth above are essential job functions for the role.
