Our culture is collaborative, autonomous, and customer-obsessed.\nWe are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who would be excited to contribute to the back-end and full-stack of our application, to imagine, design and build new features and products for our customers.\nOur tech stack is serverless on GCP (Node.js / Typescript), with a React web front-end and React-Native (iOS/Android). However, your passion for making great software and willingness to learn are more important to us than experience with any particular technology.\nYou will:\nBuild delightful and innovative software that makes it easier for our customers to manage finance and accounting tasks. Our customers include both midsize and large construction companies, specifically leaders in finance and accounting.\nInvent best-in-industry tools while working side-by-side with our customers, team of engineers and business folks.\nWrite scalable software that helps us efficiently handle the large volumes of data on our platform.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nSelf-Motivated and enthusiastic about building great software\n5+ years of experience in software engineering\nBSc. Computer Science (or equivalent experience)\nExpert knowledge of a statically typed language (ideally Java or Typescript)\nFamiliarity with SQL and no-SQL databases\nOther experience (not required, we’re happy for you to learn):\nFamiliarity with accounting concepts\nTypescript, React and/or React-Native\nGoogle Cloud Platform\nFintech and/or payment processing\nWe want you to love your work, team and environment - this may not be a good fit if you:\nPrefer a highly structured, well-defined environment\nAre uncomfortable being the first to figure something out\nAren’t interested in interacting with customers\nCompensation Range: $180k-$200k, plus equity\nBenefits include:\n100% premium coverage for employee health insurance premiums and partial coverage for dependents.\nHealth Savings Account with a company contribution\nFlexible Spending Account Options: Health Care and Dependent Care\nDental, Vision, and Life Insurance\n11 paid company holidays plus generous Paid Time Off (PTO) policy\nPlus stock options so that you can participate in the company’s success!\nThis is a hybrid role that allows for remote work flexibility.
