This role will provide BMS support services to the DE Country Operations team. This role will be based in India.\n\n \n\nKey responsibilities\n\n \n\nParticipate in the design, construction and commissioning phases for new datacenter’s BMS.\nReview and manage all BMS point list for Electrical, Mechanical, Fire Protection and Control systems.\nAble to understand and assess drawings, plans, specifications and other documents relating to BMS / Control Projects.\nFamiliar with standard calculation heating/cooling load and Data Center PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) calculation.\nDevelop BMS operational maintenance work scope.\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex issues in BMS / Controls.\nAutomate BMS data upload to Digital Edge Platform Reporting System to prioritise and group critical Infrastructure alerts and send to Regional Operations Center.\nFamiliar with Network configuration, troubleshooting and industrial communication protocols, like BACnet, Modbus, OPC or SNMP.\nWork with multiple internal teams (DC operations, Engineering, Construction etc.) and be a good team player.\nRecommend BMS replacement strategy (if required) and implementation approach with no or minimal disruption to infrastructure alarms monitoring.\nPerform preliminary energy audits and analysis on data of major consuming equipment or system; and provide recommendations on potential energy conservation measures, opportunities and financial assessments on an annual basis.\nActively champion and implement the organization’s policies on health & safety, environment, energy, quality, information security, and business continuity, ensuring adherence to incident reporting, legal, and regulatory requirements.\n\n \n\nThe successful candidate:\n\n \n\nDiploma / bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical or instrumentation engineering.\nMinimum 10 years’ experience working in the Data Centre operations / support.\nKnowledge of Date center infrastructure facilities equivalent to CDCP or CDFOM.\nExtensive knowledge of multiple facets of controls engineering / BMS systems.\nHave relevant work experience in data center operations, BMS monitoring of infrastructure and alarms generation.\nGood communication, interpersonal skills and ability to manage cross-cultural environment/ language barriers.\nSelf-motivated, independent, positive, and able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.\nAble to lead internal and/or external discussions with vendors.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.\nExperienced in Networking and troubleshooting.\nAbility to respond to issues and provide timely updates and escalations if needed.\nAnalytical mindset with attention to detail.\nFluent in oral and written English. \n\n \n\nJoin us to shape the future of Digital Infrastructure in Asia.
