Our commitment is operational excellence, customer advocacy, and disciplined execution from loss through completion.Position SummaryPaul Davis Restoration is seeking a skilled Field Operations & Fleet Management Technician to support our mitigation, reconstruction, and emergency response operations. This field-based role is critical to maintaining company vehicles and equipment, completing in-house construction and punch-list work, and responding to emergency stabilization needs such as roof tarping and board-ups.This position is designed to reduce subcontracted costs, improve response times, and protect company assets during emergency losses, serving as a hands-on operational force multiplier across departments.Key ResponsibilitiesFleet & Asset ManagementCoordinate preventive maintenance for company vehicles and trailersPerform minor in-house safety (exits signs, escape route, fire extinguishers)Monitor vehicle condition, mileage, and safety complianceCoordinate with vendors for major repairs while managing cost and downtimeIdentify opportunities to extend vehicle lifecycles and reduce outsourced maintenance costsIn-House Construction & Punch-List WorkDrywall repair, texture matching, priming, and paintinginor carpentry (trim, baseboards, doors, cabinetry adjustments)Flooring repairs (LVP plank replacement, transitions, tack strip repairs)Appliance installation (dishwashers, ranges, microwaves, washers/dryers)Completion of job punch-lists to prevent re-work and additional subcontract mobilizationEmergency & Restoration ServicesPerform emergency roof tarping and board-ups, including multi-story structures using proper safety equipmentTemporary weatherproofing to prevent secondary damageConduct non-engineering roof inspections for storm, fire, and impact lossesPhoto documentation and measurements for project and insurance filesSupport mitigation and reconstruction teams during surge or CAT eventsSafety, Documentation & Team SupportFollow OSHA and company safety standards, especially for ladder and roof workMaintain clear job documentation and photo recordsCommunicate effectively with project managers and office staffMaintain tools, equipment, and materials inventoryQualificationsStrong background in construction, facilities maintenance, or restorationComfortable working at heights and in emergency conditionsValid driver's license with a clean driving recordAbility to work independently and prioritize urgent tasksRestoration or emergency response experience preferredPreferred CertificationsOSHA 10 or OSHA 30Ladder and fall-protection trainingRoof safety trainingIICRC certifications (growth opportunity)Compensation & BenefitsPay Range: $22–$30 per hour (based on experience)Overtime eligibleCompany vehicle or vehicle stipend recommendedTraining and certification investment providedOpportunity for growth within a stable, mission-driven organizationPre-Employment Testing: As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant workplace, employment offers are contingent upon the satisfactory results of a criminal background check and 10-panel drug screening.Apply today!Please apply if you think you have what it takes to serve others and deliver a world-class service when others need it the most.
