Software EngineerChantilly, VARV-SWE-CHY-001Looking for a full stack developer supporting a backend development team focused on middleware and backend services.Mandatory Skills:Intermediate to Expert level experience in Solr or Elasticsearch (minimum 3 years), including performing schema updates; submitting Lucene queries; understanding how Solr/Elastic shards work; and tuning Solr/Elastic for performance and query optimizationMinimum of 3 years of experience in a big data environment using tools such as Hadoop, PySpark, Spark, and HBase (prefer at least two of the list)Minimum of 5 years of hands-on, back-end Java development experience (not JavaScript or Spring Boot) implementing code that undergoes code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and deployment to a production environmentCollege degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical degreeOptional Skills: Demonstrated experience working with several AWS servicesDemonstrated experience with Jira and GitHub
