A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.Opportunity:/nRN - ER/n/nJob Details:/n• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM/n• 3 shifts per week schedule/n• Every other weekend and every other holiday required/n• 2 years of nursing experience required/n• Travel experience required/n• Must have worked in an ED setting with at least 45,600 visits per year (125/day) within the past 8 months/n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS/n• Cerner EMR experience required/n• Triage experience required/n• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms/n• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions/n• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends/n• Float within skillset as needed/n• No on-call requirements/n• Care for patients of all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics/n• Handle approximately 130 visits per day in a 40-room/40-bed emergency department/n• 36 hours of orientation provided/n• Expert prioritization and organizational skills required for fast-paced ER environment/n• Skills required include BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilated patient care, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, phlebotomy, IV starts and maintenance/n/nFacility:/nThis healthcare organization operates a comprehensive emergency services department providing immediate care for a wide range of medical conditions and trauma situations.
