The consultants will be responsible for support and troubleshooting IBM z/OS Communication Server components including VTAM, TCP/IP, TN3270, FTP, Policy Agent, and SMTP. The consultants will also maintain and troubleshoot software from Broadcom/CA (NetMaster), PKWARE (PKZip), and IBM Sterling (Connect:Direct, Secure Proxy).The engineers will configure network requirements for MQ, DB2, and CICS as well as advise application and engineering teams on connectivity troubleshooting. The consultants will develop tools for network monitoring, auditing, and daily operations and also support Disaster Recovery (DR) tests and IDC events.The consultants will also be tasked with resolving issues related to file transmissions, printing, and email infrastructure.Required SkillsStrong technical background in z/OS Mainframe Network Administration. Deep expertise with IBM z/OS Communication Server (TCP/IP & VTAM). Experience managing mainframe file transfer tools and 3rd-party network utilities.
