This role helps to achieve long-term organizational strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates, and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions.\r\nDuties And Responsibilities\r\nWork with prospective customers to discover their \"points of pain\" and develop solutions.\r\nAccurately forecast sales deliverables and KPIs\r\nAchieve sales goals and be able to work independently\r\nPerform sales prospecting using consultative sales techniques to build long-standing business relationships; marketing; pricing\r\nPrepare and conduct heavy phone prospecting, sales presentations, virtual demonstrations, and handle contract negotiations with minimum supervision\r\nIdentify customer needs and utilize solution-based selling techniques to fully demonstrate the value of BrightView services\r\nCultivate and maintain relationships with prospects and existing clients\r\nBuild and maintain trust-based professional relationships with key decision makers\r\nPlan daily and hit specific activity benchmarks and close business\r\nLog activity consistently and reliably in CRM (Salesforce)\r\nWork in a fast-paced environment while operating with a high sense of urgency\r\nCommunicate proactively with all decision makers and influencers\r\nEducation And Experience\r\nBachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience\r\nExtensive face-to-face (B2B) selling experience at the mid-to-senior levels, 3-5 years of experience\r\nExperience managing multiple projects and able to multi-task in a large territory\r\nProficient with computer programs including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint\r\nExperience with a CRM or SFA tool\r\nProven track record of sales goal attainment and pipeline management\r\nHighly competitive, positive, and results driven\r\nExcellent presentation skills\r\nExcellent oral and written communication skills to build client-centric and solution/value-based proposals\r\nWorking experience with social media\r\nLocal knowledge and contacts in one or more market segments preferred\r\nAbility to be self-motivated and self-directed\r\nExperience in the service industry with commercial contract sales desirable\r\nPhysical Demands/Requirements\r\nConstant operation of a computer and other office equipment such as a laptop, cell phone and sales programs/tools\r\nPosition is a combination of mobile and sedentary work; must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time\r\nCustomarily and regularly spends more than half of the time working away from BrightView's places of business selling and obtaining orders or contracts for BrightView's services.\r\nAbility to travel by car, train, and plane\r\nPosition needs to be able to traverse uneven grounds and walk on jobsites with clients and branch teams for periods of time up to 4 hours\r\nAbility to maintain, in your possession at all times, required medications to address any known allergic reactions should they occur\r\nWork Environment\r\nWorks both indoors and outdoors\r\nField based position, combination of office and customer facing.\r\nBrightView Landscapes, LLC is an Equal Opportunity and E-Verify Employer.\r\nBrightView offers a suite of health, wellness, and financial benefits to full-time team members.
