Business Intelligence Analyst (GCP & Tableau Support)

Supporting the analytics platform across GCP (BigQuery) and Tableau development. Focus is on data pipeline stability, reporting creation and maintenance, and light migration support from legacy systems (Hive/Presto and Tableau). Work is SLA-based, following defined SOPs from onshore teams.Key Responsibilities GCP Data Support (BigQuery)Create, maintain, and update tables/datasets in BigQuerySupport migration of tables from Hive/Presto to GCPConvert and validate SQL logic (Hive/Presto → BigQuery)Ensure data accuracy and consistency post-migrationMaintain curated datasets for reporting use Tableau Reporting & MigrationBuild and maintain Tableau dashboards on BigQuery datasetsSupport migration of dashboards to a new Tableau instancePerform validation and regression testing post-migrationEnsure dashboard accuracy, refresh stability, and performance Data Ingestion & StabilitySupport automated data ingestion pipelines into GCPMonitor scheduled jobs and resolve ingestion failuresTroubleshoot data issues and coordinate fixes with Data EngineeringEnsure data availability meets SLA requirements Production SupportHandle BAU fixes, data updates, and dashboard changesFollow SLA timelines for reporting and migration tasksProvide status updates and escalate issues as neededRequired Skills2–5 years in BI / data engineering support rolesStrong SQL (BigQuery + Hive/Presto exposure preferred)Experience with GCP (BigQuery)Hands-on Tableau dashboard development & maintenanceExperience with data validation and reconciliationExposure to data migration projects (preferred)Preferred SkillsExperience with Freight & Logistics dataGTM Business exposurePython (basic automation)
