Youth Program Leader (Lunch Support)

Position: Program Lead – Kicks to Learn Job Summary Kicks to Learn is seeking dedicated and energetic Program Leads to support students’ academic, behavioral, and physical development in a positive and inclusive environment. Under the guidance of the Site Lead, Program Leads will deliver engaging activities, implement instructional plans, and foster a safe, supportive atmosphere where all students can thrive. Key Responsibilities Provide individualized and small-group academic support, reinforcing lessons and assisting with homework completion. Implement behavior management strategies as directed by the Site Lead, using positive reinforcement and de-escalation techniques. Maintain an organized and welcoming classroom environment, including materials distribution and activity setup. Lead engaging small group activities, read aloud to students, and adapt materials to meet varying learning needs. Communicate regularly with the Site Lead and school staff regarding student progress, needs, and concerns. Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of students during all activities. Promote inclusivity and encourage participation from all students, regardless of background or ability. Collaborate with colleagues to create programs aligned with Kicks to Learn’s mission. Mentor and guide students in setting and achieving personal goals. Maintain open communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress and concerns. Assist in planning and executing events, camps, and workshops that enhance skills in sports, arts, academics, and more. Qualifications & Experience Background in special education, early childhood education, or related fields preferred. Experience in babysitting, tutoring, childcare, or youth programs highly valued. Sports coaching or classroom management experience is a plus. Understanding of child development principles to support holistic growth. Current First Aid/CPR certification preferred. Experience in camp or recreational program settings is an advantage. Why Join Us?
