Optimum RV is a leading RV dealership, offering a diverse selection of recreational vehicles backed by exceptional customer service. We are currently seeking a motivated, customer-oriented General Manager to join our dynamic team.We offer significant income potential, opportunities for career advancement, and the chance to maintain a healthy work-life balance.Our ideal candidate will have a background in managing high-volume auto dealerships and will have completed formal auto dealer finance/sales training.Responsibilities:Manage and mentor the sales team to drive performanceProvide ongoing training and professional development for sales staffCollaborate with the recruitment team to address staffing needsOversee deals and assist in closing sales when necessaryBuild and maintain strong relationships with customers and managementPerform additional duties as assignedRequirementsCompletion of an accredited automotive finance/sales training programAt least 2 years of management experience in a high-volume sales environmentStrong computer literacyFamiliarity with Motility software is a plusThorough understanding of federal, state, and local retail lawsPreferred Skills:Proven track record in sales, particularly in the automotive or RV industryStrong interpersonal and communication abilitiesSkilled at building rapport with customers and identifying their needsExcellent negotiation and closing skillsSelf-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets and earn commissionsWillingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidaysValid driver's license with a clean driving recordHigh school diploma or equivalentEssential Characteristics: Hustle: We are self-motivated, driven and never satisfied Humble: We are trainable, coachable, and confident... not arrogant Reliable: We do what we say we're going to do, when we say we're going to do it... every time Team Player: We are stronger as one.
