In this role, you will work at the intersection of engineering and operations, designing CI/CD pipelines, automating, and resolving complex application issues that directly impact Citi's business performance. This is an opportunity to grow your DevOps career within a high-impact technology team, supporting the Products and Functions Technology organization and working with cross-functional partners across development and business stakeholders.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, build, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery across multiple projects.\nProvide technical application support to business users by diagnosing issues, delivering short-term resolutions, and driving long-term fixes in collaboration with engineering and vendor partners.\nConduct root cause analysis for system outages, performance degradations, and application failures, then implement targeted remediation.\nParticipate in application releases end-to-end, from development and testing through to production deployment and post-release verification.\nAnalyze applications to identify security vulnerabilities and technical risks, recommending and implementing appropriate mitigations.\nAct as a liaison between business users, internal technology teams, and external vendors to coordinate issue resolution and infrastructure improvements.\nDevelop and maintain technical support documentation to ensure continuity and clarity across the team.\nAutomate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code tools, reducing manual effort and improving system consistency.\nRequired Qualifications & Skills:\n2 or more years of experience in a DevOps Engineer or equivalent software engineering role, working on Linux-based infrastructure environments.\nWorking knowledge of at least one scripting or programming language such as Python, Java, Perl, or Ruby, applied to automation or tooling tasks.\nWorking knowledge of coding and supporting YAML-based CI/CD pipelines for enhancements and implementations.\nUnderstanding deploying and managing WebLogic on Virtual machines and container platforms.\nAbility to query and analyze data using SQL to support troubleshooting and operational reporting.\nFamiliarity with DevOps and Agile principles, and how they apply to delivery workflows and team collaboration.\nExperience optimizing system reliability and identifying opportunities to improve workflow efficiency.\nClear and confident communication skills, with the ability to translate technical detail for business stakeholders and management.\nBachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.\nBeneficial Skills & Qualifications:\nExperience with ITIL and Agile methodologies and processes.\nHands-on exposure to cloud platforms, with Microsoft Azure being particularly preferred.\nExperience managing production infrastructure using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.\nUnderstanding of Infrastructure as Code practices for automating environment provisioning and configuration.\nWhat We Offer:\nAt Citi, you will work within a collaborative, performance-driven technology team where your contributions have a direct impact on the reliability and effectiveness of systems used by businesses and clients around the world.
