Travel RN - Med/Surg - Wound/Ostomy Care

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Wound Care position requiring a CA RN license, prior travel experience, and Epic proficiency.Job Details• Hospital-based Wound Care unit,• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM),• 13-week contract,Job Requirements• Active CA RN license required,• Current BLS certification required,• Minimum 2 years of wound care RN experience required,• Prior travel nursing experience required,• Epic EMR experience required,• Wound care certification preferred,• Valid driver's license required,• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing,Additional Information• Conducts comprehensive wound care patient assessments and develops individualized plans of care,• Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate and adjust daily care plans,• Documents all treatment information and patient responses in the EHR,• Provides patient and family education from admission through care transitions,• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate,• Former employees of this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler,• Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved during the contract,• 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year are required for consideration
