You will join a team dedicated to bringing Apollo to market at scale, tackling the complex challenges like safety, commercialization, and mass production to change the world for the better.\nJOB SUMMARY\nWe are looking for a sharp, reliable Robot Network / Infrastructure Engineer to join our Operations team.\nIn this role, you will design, deploy, and maintain the network infrastructure that connects our robots to edge systems and cloud services. You will be responsible for ensuring high performance, secure segmentation, and reliable connectivity for our robots, both internally and at customer sites.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nDesign and deploy Wi-Fi, VLANs, segmentation, and network security for robot operations.\nConfigure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and site architecture.\nSupport site readiness assessments, connectivity testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.\nMonitor network performance, diagnose latency and packet-loss issues, and ensure high uptime.\nMaintain OT network standards, architecture diagrams, and operational documentation.\nDeployment of Robots within our Robot Park location and at customer sites to ensure network connectivity and provide software support.\nSkills and Requirements\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with a focus on Networks\n3–5+ years network engineering experience (Cisco, Aruba, Ubiquiti, Meraki, etc.).\nStrong understanding of wireless systems and OT/IoT network design.\nFamiliarity with network security fundamentals and best practices.\nAdvanced knowledge and experience with Ansible, Linux, ROS, Python, C++, and Docker\nNice to Have\nPrevious experience in robotics.\nExperience working in a startup environment.\nThe Logistics\nLocation: This role is 100% on-site at our Austin, TX headquarters Travel: Some travel is required, both domestic and foreign for this role. Ability to travel, and possession of passport is required.\nSchedule: This role requires flexibility.
