In this role, you will provide technical support for hardware, systems, sub-systems and/or applications for the client as the primary service technician. You will develop strategies to foster teamwork, promote excellence, and exude integrity as a leader on our team.\r\nLocation and Hours\r\nOn-site at Scott Air Force Base, near O'Fallon, IL\r\nUsual business hours M-F, however, employee may be required to provide after-hours and weekend support during planned or emergency events.\r\nPosition Responsibilities\r\nCoordinate and monitor servers, cloud services, and other systems to ensure essential services are highly available and secure.\r\nCreate, disseminate, catalog, and store critical reports and sensitive records.\r\nApply extensive training to meet the time-sensitive needs of key clients in global operations.\r\nAssist in establishing a secure server location for the additional processing and distribution of key project data.\r\nAnalyze network and system issues to meet client SLA requirements.\r\nUpdate client network architecture, install VOIP phones, and change ISPs.\r\nDiagnose and resolve any network issues in accordance with client SLAs.\r\nAnalyze and proactively recommend necessary updates or changes to client networking infrastructure.\r\nUtilize advanced tools to monitor global networks to ensure system availability and security.\r\nCollaborated with team members to effectively evaluate and interpret key information, identifying organizational needs and proper courses of action.\r\nUpdate and create documentation on client networks, configurations, and best solutions for common issues.\r\nProvide high-level subject matter proficiency for work described in the task.\r\nProvide advanced technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environment, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, training, and implementation advice on complex problems that require doctorate level knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementation.\r\nProvides status reporting to management and customer.\r\nRequirements\r\nRequired Certifications and Education\r\nOne of these IAT Level II certifications: Security+, CECCNA-Security, CySA+ **, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP\r\nA Computing Environment (CE) certification or certificate for the technical area of responsibility in either Network support/defense (e.g., Splunk, Cisco, McAfee, etc.) OR (e.g., Microsoft, Linux, Solaris, etc.)\r\nHelp Desk Institute Customer Service Representative Certification - or willing to obtain\r\nExceptional expertise and experience in the technical field.
