Construction Project Manager

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and with proven record Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will coordinate all phases of construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Your expertise in construction management software, project scheduling, and site coordination will drive project success while maintaining safety and quality standards. Duties Possess thorough knowledge of CDOT forms and compliance requirements, including but not limited to: BABA (Build America, Buy America Act), Buy America, Form 1600, CDOT Form 7, and any other project-specific forms. Ensure all project materials comply with federal, state, and CDOT requirements, including proper documentation such as Certificates of Compliance (COC) and Certified Test Reports (CTRs) for every material used. Review, submit, and maintain all necessary forms and documentation in accordance with CDOT regulations and project requirements. Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to confirm that all materials meet domestic content requirements and possess the required certifications before incorporation into the project. Maintain accurate project records, including material submittals, certifications, and correspondence, ensuring documentation is complete and readily available for audits. Utilize Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) to track project progress, prepare reports, manage schedules, and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Provide guidance and training to project staff on CDOT compliance requirements, material documentation, and reporting procedures. Monitor project performance, identify potential compliance issues, and proactively implement corrective measures to ensure adherence to all federal, state, and CDOT standards. Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and specifications. Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth project progression. Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management tools to monitor progress and adjust plans proactively. Review blueprints, schematics, contracts, and construction documents to ensure clarity and compliance with industry standards. Oversee construction site activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed and work is performed according to plan. Manage project documentation using construction management software like HCSS and Bluebeam for seamless communication and record keeping. Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, quality control, and adherence to design specifications like Civil 3D or other technical drawings. Facilitate project meetings to coordinate tasks, resolve issues promptly, and keep all stakeholders informed of progress. Ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment while managing contracts and change orders effectively. Oversee and manage all aspects of assigned projects from planning through closeout, ensuring compliance with project specifications, schedules, and budgets. Experience Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in civil or heavy construction projects. Extensive site experience with a solid understanding of blueprint reading and schematics interpretation. Proficiency in project scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or similar tools like MS Project. Hands-on experience with construction management software including HCSS, Bluebeam, or equivalent platforms. Knowledge of contracts administration, safety regulations, and quality assurance practices on large-scale projects. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining excellent time management skills. Strong communication skills for effective project coordination across diverse teams and stakeholders.
