Nurse Supervisor

Job Title: Nurse Supervisor Location: Clifton Springs, NY Rate: $2,650 Weekly Shift: 36hrs - 3x12hrs - Rotating Job description: The Nurse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the nursing staff and ensuring high-quality patient care within the facility. This role involves managing nursing personnel, coordinating patient care activities, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient outcomes. The Nurse Supervisor will also play a key role in developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and fostering a supportive and efficient work environment. Key Responsibilities: Supervision & Leadership: Lead, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care. Conduct regular performance reviews and facilitate ongoing education and training for nursing personnel. Schedule and manage staff assignments to ensure adequate coverage and efficient workflow. Patient Care Coordination: Oversee and coordinate patient care activities, including assessments, treatments, and interventions. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. Address and resolve patient and family concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner. Policy & Procedure Management: Develop, implement, and review nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nursing practices and make recommendations for improvements. Quality Assurance: Monitor patient care outcomes and take corrective actions as needed to address any deficiencies or issues. Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation. Assist with budgeting and resource allocation for the nursing department. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to strategic planning and goal setting.
