Accounting & Finance Manager

Responsibilities: - AR functions include: bill customers daily, run AR aging, follow up with customers on payment, charge customer credit cards, post all payments received, deposit checks remotely via online banking, investigate customer references to determine credit given, research any discrepancies, calculate quarterly sales tax & maintain all records - AP functions include: entering invoices matching receipt and PO, prepare weekly check runs, enter and maintain prepayments to vendors, fill out credit applications, research any discrepancies, & maintain all records - HR functions include: accurately running biweekly payroll, maintaining time keeping of hourly employees, onboarding and offboarding employees, resolving any paycheck issues, administrating benefits to employees, keep records of employee personnel files, adhere to the laws and regulations required by employers - Property Management functions include: maintaining lessee’s rent payments, ensuring all parties adhere to the signed lease agreement, resolve any issues with buildings, provide data required for building sales/purchases - Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department - Perform cash flow analysis and forecasting to ensure optimal financial management - Conduct technical accounting research and provide guidance on complex accounting issues - Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP - Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets - In addition to the above, the Accounting & Finance Manager will support CPA’s with monthly reports such as AR, AP, Sales & Use Tax, etc Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - Prior experience with general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial forecasting and job cost analysis required - Experience with Quickbooks - Proficient MS Office (especially Excel) skills - Excellent verbal and written communications skills - Understanding of GAAP guidelines - Must have time management skills to prioritize tasks - Prior experience in managing multiple companies is a plus - Proficiency in financial statement preparation and analysis - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills - Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines We offer competitive compensation packages, including benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance.
