You will build and maintain the schedules, dependencies, and milestone structure that keep our satellite missions and government contracts moving on time, and you will resolve the resource conflicts that inevitably arise across a portfolio of concurrent efforts. You will work closely with engineering leadership, functional managers, systems engineering, and responsible engineers, and partner directly with the executive team on prioritization, staffing, and bid decisions.\n\nAs part of our quickly growing team, you will own the on‑time delivery of our mission‑critical hardware and software that will significantly improve humanity's ability to rapidly and comprehensively understand our changing planet.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nDefine and communicate clear program structure, scope, and milestones\n\nBuild and maintain schedules for projects and programs\n\nDrive coordination across teams to keep deliverables moving\n\nIdentify resource needs and negotiate staffing with functional managers\n\nSurface risks early and propose practical mitigations\n\nTranslate engineering roadmaps into concrete release items and execution plans\n\nSupport planning for new efforts, including staffing, cost estimates, schedule assumptions, and resource utilization\n\nHelp leadership make better prioritization and bid / no‑bid decisions\n\nBasic Qualifications\n\nB.S. in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field\n\n3–5 years of experience supporting complex, high‑stakes technical programs with a track record of delivering integrated hardware/software systems\n\nDemonstrated ability to learn new, highly technical concepts rapidly and independently in a fast‑paced environment\n\nA high level of personal accountability and the \"whatever it takes\" attitude required to hit mission‑critical deadlines\n\nExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to bridge the gap between deep‑tech engineering details and executive‑level strategy\n\nPreferred Skills & Experience\n\nHands‑on experience in the design, development, integration, or test of electronic or mechanical hardware systems\n\nExperience with scripting (Python, SQL) or data visualization tools to automate program metrics and performance tracking\n\nProven success in a high‑growth, ambiguous, or \"clean‑sheet\" hardware environment\n\nFamiliarity or experience with the aerospace industry or exposure to development of safety‑critical hardware systems\n\n$150,000 - $250,000 a year\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nOur hiring and compensation strategy is simple: find uncommonly good people and pay them uncommonly well.\n\nWe offer high flexibility between salary and equity‑based compensation.
