Daycare Float Assistant Teacher

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Float Assistant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and educational environment for children in our care. This role involves engaging with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, fostering their development through play, structured activities, and individualized attention. The Daycare Float Assistant Teacher will work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a safe and stimulating atmosphere that promotes learning and growth. Responsibilities Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards. Provide attentive care to infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety and well-being. Foster a positive learning environment through effective classroom management techniques. Engage children in interactive activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns. Maintain a clean and organized classroom space conducive to learning. Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive team dynamic focused on the best interests of the children. Skills Strong background in infant care, childcare, and preschool education. Experience in daycare settings with knowledge of classroom management strategies. Ability to work effectively with children of varying abilities. Experience working with students in various capacities (e.g., babysitting, tutoring). Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and staff. Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children. Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities effectively.
