About the Opportunity:The Software Engineer, Finance Technology role focuses on developing and transforming the finance technology platform that supports secure, compliant, and efficient financial transactions. This position entails building a modern tech stack integrated with AI-enabled tools, enabling features such as credit card processing, invoicing, payouts, and tax calculations. The role is critical in evolving the organization''s payments platform, contributing to its scalability and functionality.3. Responsibilities:Lead design and development of services and features transforming the finance technology stack in collaboration with senior engineers and product teams.Balance quality and speed to deliver features impacting customers.Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering excellence.Participate in an on-call rotation.Collaborate effectively to build meaningful software.4. Requirements:Minimum 3 years of professional backend development experience with languages such as Go, Ruby on Rails, or Java.Proven experience designing and consuming APIs (REST or GraphQL) and working knowledge of relational databases like PostgreSQL.Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools integrated into engineering workflows.Experience designing and scaling payment processing and payout systems in high-volume environments.Hands-on experience with payment service providers and gateways, understanding payment lifecycles and compliance.Commitment to quality through security best practices, automated testing, code reviews, and CI/CD.Experience with feature flags, telemetry, and safe rollout techniques.Ability to triage and investigate production issues.Collaborative problem-solving with product and design teams.Open to feedback and flexible work approach.5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:The national total target cash compensation range for this position, including base salary and bonus target, is $125,000 - $148,000 annually.Final offer amounts depend on experience, expertise, and region.This range excludes additional benefits such as equity, 401(k), or insurance.6.
