If you’re ready to bring your skills to work that actually matters, we want to hear from you.What you’ll ownYou’ll operate with autonomy on complex, mission-critical infrastructure — challenging problems and a team that trusts your judgment.Manage performance and efficiency of servers across multi-OS environmentsMaintain data security, system integrity, and administrator accountsDesign and implement high-availability solutions: failover clusters, SQL Server FCI, and AlwaysOn Availability GroupsOwn backup, restore, migration, and database snapshot strategiesOptimize Oracle 19c and SQL Server for mission-speed data accessMonitor and manage SQL Server Agent alerts and jobsBuild and maintain efficient table structures for both transactional and warehouse dataLead database migrations across MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle environmentsDevelop and enforce testing strategies, policies, and performance standardsAdvise end-users on performance tuning and best practicesMaintain current knowledge of relevant and emerging technologiesWhat you bring to the tableMust-havesActive TS/SCI clearance5+ years of SQL database analysis and/or administration experienceHands-on experience with failover clusters, SQL Server FCI, and AlwaysOn Availability GroupsExperience building and maintaining efficient table structures (OLTP and data warehouse)Experience with database backup, restore, migration, and snapshot technologiesExperience monitoring, creating, and managing SQL Server Agent alertsS. in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent experienceStrong differentiatorsOracle 19c administration and performance tuning expertiseMigration experience with MySQL and PostgreSQLCompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570 certificationOracle database administration backgroundYour clearance. The salary range for this position is typically $135-$140k.
