{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"19263f2ef9cfb3c1beefdee4","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/19263f2ef9cfb3c1beefdee4","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/19263f2ef9cfb3c1beefdee4","title":"Maintenance Manager","description":"Join to apply for the Maintenance Manager role at Mauser Packaging Solutions\n\nResponsibilities\n\nOversees, plans and issues work orders to appropriate shift team members for the implementation of equipment modifications as well as preventative and any corrective maintenance.\n\nWorks closely with manufacturing departments to ensure production equipment is maintained on a consistent basis and all PM schedules are met in a timely fashion.\n\nPrepares and coordinates maintenance resources and provides recommendations for capital and continuous improvement projects.\n\nReviews the operation of equipment with appropriate personnel to identify maintenance issues in the areas of Safety, Quality, Cost, Productivity and Customer Satisfaction.\n\nTracks and improves machine downtime, increases machine reliability to support manufacturing in meeting customer demand.\n\nEnsures compliance with health and safety policies and that all equipment is properly safeguarded.\n\nDevelops and implements maintenance procedures that are trackable and accountable to ensure maximum efficiency of the maintenance department.\n\nManages relationships with contractors and service providers.\n\nTracks, analyzes, and improves the Maintenance department’s KPIs.\n\nReviews the location’s KPIs (Daily, Weekly and Monthly) to make recommendations for improving plant operations, OEE and maintenance problem resolution.\n\nEngages employees in problem resolution to improve production issues/efficiencies using Lean Manufacturing techniques as needed.\n\nFosters a positive working environment and drives the Maintenance team to meet set productivity targets and performance standards.\n\nMonitors and reviews Maintenance budget monthly; prepares and implements annual budgets.\n\nEnsures regulatory compliance with governmental agencies at city, county, state and federal levels.\n\nDrives cost savings through equipment repairs, upgrades, improved PMs, and reduced cycle times.\n\nEnsures Maintenance employees are properly trained in all aspects of their jobs; identifies training gaps and develops training plans as needed.\n\nMaintains facility compliance with municipal, state/provincial, and federal fire and safety codes, including testing/inspections of the fire protection system.\n\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\n\nRequirements\n\nMust have strong interpersonal skills.\n\nBachelor’s degree in engineering or operations management.\n\nPrefer valid Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM).\n\nPossess 10+ years of experience in Industrial Automation, PLCs, Pneumatics and Hydraulics, Injection Molding preferably in the Packaging Industry.\n\nLeadership experience in operations, maintenance, engineering and/or process improvement roles including managing teams of people.\n\nPrevious experience working in a Lean environment preferred.
