Position SummaryGod’s Love We Deliver seeks a highly collaborative, detail-oriented, and analytically minded Prospect Management & Research Associate to support the growth and effectiveness of the Philanthropy team.The Prospect Management & Research Associate will serve as a strategic partner to frontline fundraisers and organizational leadership by identifying new philanthropic prospects, supporting donor engagement strategy, maintaining accurate CRM data, and helping ensure portfolios and fundraising opportunities are actively managed and aligned with organizational priorities.This role will also support the organization’s focus on acquisition, helping identify and bring new people into our mission while strengthening systems that deepen relationships with existing donors, partners, volunteers, and prospects.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting data, relationship strategy, systems, and storytelling to support fundraising growth and operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesProspect Research & Donor IntelligenceConduct prospect research and wealth screening to identify and evaluate individual, corporate, foundation, and institutional giving prospectsDevelop donor profiles, executive briefings, research reports, and prospect strategy materials for Philanthropy leadership and organizational stakeholdersSupport prospecting efforts tied to major gifts, institutional giving, corporate partnerships, campaigns, and special initiativesMonitor donor engagement activity, giving trends, and relationship opportunities across portfoliosMaintain research resources and serve as an internal partner for prospect intelligence and fundraising insightsHandle sensitive donor information with discretion, professionalism, and confidentialityPortfolio & Pipeline ManagementSupport portfolio management processes for frontline fundraisers and Philanthropy leadershipAssist with portfolio reviews, prospect assignments, moves management tracking, and donor qualification processesMonitor pipeline activity and help identify opportunities for donor re-engagement, cultivation, and stewardshipProduce reports and dashboards that support fundraising strategy, portfolio health, and revenue forecastingHelp ensure donor records, engagement tracking, and relationship notes remain accurate and current within the CRMData, Systems & OperationsSupport CRM data integrity efforts, reporting standards, and SOP documentationAssist in the development of donor segmentation strategies and fundraising analyticsCollaborate cross-functionally with Philanthropy, Finance, Marketing & Communications, Volunteer Services, and Events teams as neededStrategic SupportSupport acquisition and relationship-deepening strategies by identifying new prospects, surfacing engagement opportunities, and helping move individuals and partners through the donor pipeline with clear next steps and coordinated follow-up.Support donor strategy meetings and campaign planning through research and pipeline insightsAssist with preparation for executive meetings, donor visits, cultivation events, and Board engagement opportunitiesHelp identify emerging funding opportunities aligned with organizational priorities and strategic initiativesTeam & Organizational RepresentationThis role is an active member of the Philanthropy team and may occasionally participate in donor events, cultivation opportunities, Board engagement activities, and public-facing organizational events. Some evening or weekend work may be required.QualificationsRequired Qualifications2–5 years of experience in prospect research, fundraising operations, development services, institutional giving, nonprofit administration, or related fieldsExperience working with CRM platforms such as Raiser’s Edge NXT, Salesforce, or similar donor databasesStrong research, analytical, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detailAbility to synthesize complex information into concise and actionable insightsStrong written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneouslyProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and reporting toolsAbility to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretionHighly collaborative, proactive, and solutions-oriented approach to workPreferred QualificationsExperience with prospect research platforms such asiWave, WealthEngine, DonorSearch, Foundation Directory, or similar toolsExperience supporting major gifts, institutional giving, campaigns, or donor engagement strategyFamiliarity with moves management and fundraising pipeline strategyExperience developing reports, dashboards, and fundraising analyticsInterest in philanthropy operations, systems improvement, and revenue strategyExperience working within a complex, fast-paced nonprofit environment
