This is a great opportunity to join an established WNY company. This position is responsible for providing technical expertise in the design, development, implementation, maintenance and documentation of the software applications and components that support the business needs of the company.\nEmployees may be eligible for a hybrid telecommuting schedule upon successful completion of a training period.\nResponsibilities:\nMaintain and develop new software applications.\nDevelop an understanding of the business.\nAssist in executing reoccurring tasks.\nMonitor phone and e-mail based help desk.\nCreate technical specifications and test plans.\nCreate new and extend existing operational documentation.\nConsult colleagues concerning maintenance and performance of software systems.\nAssist in companywide system upgrades as needed.\nUtilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to IntelliJ, Java, Visual Studio, ASP.NET, SQL Server, XML, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.\nInvestigate and develop skills in new technologies.\nPerform other related duties as required.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Information Systems or minimum five years’ experience.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.\nAbility to set and meet deadlines as necessary.\nMust have excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills.\nProven experience in Object Oriented analysis, design and programming.\nProficient in IntelliJ, Java, Visual Studio, Microsoft .NET Framework, ASP.NET, HTML, XML, Web Services, CSS and JavaScript.\nProven experience with Relational Databases (Microsoft SQL Server).\nMust have demonstrated ability to quickly master new technologies.\nPay range for this position is $75,000-$90,000 annually depending on experience and qualifications of the selected candidate.
