You'll control labor and food costs, build relationships with guests, handle guest issues and serve as a model of hospitality.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nTeach and practice Freddy's standards of hospitality, quality and cleanliness\r\nLead by example; be organized and vocal, with strong time-management skills\r\nDemonstrate a willingness to learn and accept coaching/constructive criticism\r\nPractice situational management and maintain a sense of urgency at all times\r\nCorrect operational mistakes with the goal of satisfying the guest\r\nSpend the majority of time on the restaurant floor (not in the office)\r\nAssess team-member performance, coach and develop them, and build a positive team culture\r\nReduce waste, manage labor and improve overall efficiency\r\nMaintain the cleanliness and maintenance of the facility and equipment\r\nFoster strong vendor relations and ensure product execution is on point\r\nRequired Skills & Experience\r\nNatural leadership skills with a self-starting personality and even disposition\r\nProfessional appearance and demeanor at all times\r\nStrong communication skills with guests and team members\r\nAbility to use a point-of-sale system\r\nWillingness to jump in and assist co-workers; team-player mentality\r\nPhysical Requirements\r\nAvailability to work a variety of hours (days, nights and weekends) within the local metro area\r\nAbility to stand or walk for up to a 10-hour shift and lift up to 40lbs\r\nWillingness to bend, stoop and occasionally use a ladder\r\nOur Philosophy\r\nA happy team means happy guests.
