{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"19149caa365eefad85f4ea17","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/19149caa365eefad85f4ea17","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/19149caa365eefad85f4ea17","title":"Control Systems Intern","description":"Thermo Systems is seeking a motivated and eager-to-learn Intern to support ongoing building automation and controls projects within mission critical/data center environments.\n\nThis internship is an excellent opportunity for Skill Bridge Candidate, students, or individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in:\n\nBuilding Management Systems (BMS)\n\nHVAC controls\n\nElectrical and controls troubleshooting\n\nCommissioning and startup activities\n\nConstruction and industrial automation environments\n\nResponsibilities\n\nAssist Controls Technicians and Project Teams with installation, checkout, and startup activities\n\nSupport point-to-point verification and system testing\n\nHelp troubleshoot control panels, sensors, and field devices\n\nAssist with documentation, redlines, and project closeout activities\n\nParticipate in field walks, coordination meetings, and safety activities\n\nLearn BMS software platforms, graphics, and system integration concepts\n\nSupport commissioning and operational readiness activities\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nCurrently pursuing or recently completed studies in:\n\nElectrical Technology\n\nHVAC\n\nInstrumentation & Controls\n\nMechatronics\n\nEngineering Technology\n\nIndustrial Systems\n\nOr related technical field\n\nBasic understanding of electrical systems and hand tools\n\nStrong willingness to learn in a fast-paced field environment\n\nPositive attitude and strong communication skills\n\nAbility to work both independently and as part of a team\n\nPreferred Skills (Not Required)\n\nFamiliarity with HVAC systems or controls\n\nExposure to electrical diagrams or schematics\n\nOSHA 10 certification\n\nExperience with Microsoft Office\n\nWhat You’ll Gain\n\nReal-world field experience on large-scale industrial and mission critical projects\n\nMentorship from experienced controls professionals\n\nExposure to commissioning, automation, and project execution\n\nOpportunity to grow into a full-time Controls Technician role\n\nThis position will primarily support field activities on active construction and commissioning sites.
