The ideal candidate brings strong experience in system integration, installation automation, and cross-team collaboration, contributing to the seamless operation of applications that support thousands of government users every day.\nKey Responsibilities:\nIntegrate and maintain five COTS products (TeamMate+, Power BI, CMTS, and others).\n\nPerform quarterly updates and upgrades for each product.\n\nSupport new installations and ongoing maintenance efforts.\n\nManage products of varying maturity levels—some with well-defined installation processes and others requiring documentation creation or updates.\n\nOversee and maintain certificates and multiple development environments (x3).\n\nAutomate installation processes to improve efficiency and consistency.\n\nConduct basic System Administration (SA) tasks and collaborate with the Cloud Operations Team for more complex system activities.\n\nDiagnose and troubleshoot integration issues, determining whether they stem from vendor bugs or configuration errors.\n\nUtilize Windows tools and work within Windows EC2 instances in a C2S environment.\n\nManage and query Microsoft SQL databases.\n\nWork with scripting languages (e.g., Python or others that meet security requirements) to streamline operations and automation.\n\nPotentially operate within Linux or use command-line tools within Windows environments.\n\nUnderstand both the development and operational aspects of product integration.\n\n,\nRequired Skills\n\nTS/SCI with Polygraph\nA bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and six (6) years' experience as an SIE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Ten (10) years’ SIE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree\nExperience with agile development methodologies\nWillingness to learn and develop strong understanding new technologies and products\nExperience developing and updating technical documentation including project schedules\nKnowledge of scripting languages\nExperience developing and executing tests to validate the installation, integration, and configuration of COTS/GOTS software\nExperience developing software tool plugins in the language in which the tools are written\nExperience with basic system administration skills in cloud hosting platforms\n,\nDesired Skills\n\nHands-on experience with software installation, configuration, and automation.\n\nFamiliarity with Windows and Linux environments.\n\nProficiency in scripting and automation tools.\n\nStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills to identify root causes of integration issues.\n\nAbility to create or refine process documentation for repeatable success.\n\nExperience collaborating with cloud or infrastructure teams.\n\n,\nAbout Castello Systems, Inc.\n\nAt Castello Systems, we are focused on delivering solutions.
