We have an opening for an assembler of our water conditioning equipment who will work in an open warehouse environment.\nThe person selected must possess experience in mechanical assembly in a similar field of employment, have the ability to learn rapidly and have a refined sense of detail when applied to the assembly process. The following summary and duties are an outline of the position but not all inclusive. Other duties may be assigned as needed.\nJob summary\nAssemble or fabricate mechanical parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications in a specific area of a warehouse environment in a busy service organization.\nEssential duties and responsibilities\nRead, interpret and follow basic instructions, diagrams, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products\nUtilize hand held tools such as a hand held screw and drill gun\nPerforming soldering, which is the process in which two or more metal items are joined together by melting and flowing a filler metal (solder) into the joint\nMaintain inventory of product in work stations\nPerform quality work checks to insure the product meets quality standards\nIdentify product defects and notify warehouse manager when defects are identified\nRework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to written instruction or specifications\nPerform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures\nMaintain a clean and safe work area\nQualification requirements\nHigh School Diploma or GED\n1-2 years mechanical assembly experience required\nBasic reading skills. Must be able to follow directions\nAbility to perform work accurately and thoroughly\nAbility to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea\nHigh attention to detail and self-motivation skills\nSpecific technical or vocational training or certification may be required or must possess equivalent experience in a similar field.\nValid driver license\nPhysical demands and abilities\nRegularly lift 30-50 pounds\nStand, crouch, kneel, bend and flex for long periods of time during the assembly process\nRegularly perform repetitive tasks\nRegularly possess manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately\nSpecific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus\nOccasionally operate a company vehicle\nThis position works Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. with some instances of working after 4 p.m. to accomplish the tasks of the day.\nEversoft offers a full suite of benefit plans including medical, dental, vision, life insurance and a 401k with a company match.
