As a partner to all of the major automobile manufacturers, as well as key players in the aerospace and industrial sectors, we offer you many development opportunities.\nPosition Goal\nAssociate Testing Engineer - Testing conducts all activities required to validation & verification (V&V), for products and contained system, mechanical, E/E or software elements as assigned.\nYour Key Responsibilities\nConduct all activities of test process to experimentally confirm product lifetime and functionality.\nPerform complex tests as a package of test processes, methods and tools to experimentally confirm product lifetime, functionality given by other technical R&D and QS positions (and cooperate with colleagues inside R&D team).\nResponsibility for the technical level of the assigned test rigs and modernization.\nEnsure quality of the provided test results (to meet customers requirements and specifications, standards, procedures and instructions).\nContribute to the product and measurement methods development.\nContribute to the development and implementation of a suitable verification and validation strategy and validation activities at the defined integration levels based on given standards (incl. testing of virtual or physical objects, static analyses, simulation).\nContribute to the exchange of development-related information and collaboration with internal/external development partners, or providers of equipment and tools, or customers.\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, have close visual acuity, and hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to maneuver objects, tools. The employee is occasionally required to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, bend, push, pull, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 65 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.\nThis position is required to know and understand the current specifications and procedures of the Quality Policy as well as the Safety and Environment Policy. This position is expected to abide by Schaeffler's Code of Conduct and all policies and procedures while contributing to the achievement of company goals and objectives.
