Mainframe Systems Programmer – z/OS Infrastructure","description":"*Job Summary*\n\n* We are seeking experienced Lead Mainframe Systems Programmers with strong expertise in IBM z/OS operating system infrastructure, software installation, system upgrades, maintenance, and production support.\n* The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience maintaining enterprise z/OS environments, including IBM and third-party ISV products, and supporting modern mainframe infrastructure technologies.\n\n*Key Responsibilities*\n\n* Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain IBM z/OS operating systems and infrastructure components.\n* Perform software installation and maintenance using SMP/E, including PTFs and APARs.\n* Install, upgrade, configure, and support IBM and third-party ISV products.\n* Support z/OS UNIX System Services (USS), z/OSMF, and Zowe environments.\n* Administer and troubleshoot DFSMS and DFHSM storage management components.\n* Develop and maintain JCL and REXX scripts for infrastructure administration and automation.\n* Troubleshoot z/OS system-level incidents and perform root cause analysis.\n* Support system upgrades, maintenance windows, disaster recovery testing, and production stability.\n* Collaborate with operations, application, storage, and infrastructure teams.\n\n*Required Qualifications*\n\n* Extensive hands-on experience in z/OS / Mainframe Systems Programming.\n* Strong experience with z/OS installation, upgrades, configuration, and maintenance.\n* Hands-on experience using SMP/E to install and maintain IBM and ISV software products.\n* Working knowledge of USS, JCL, REXX, and z/OS infrastructure troubleshooting.\n* Experience supporting enterprise production mainframe environments.\n\n*Preferred Qualifications*\n\n* Hands-on experience with z/OSMF and Zowe.\n* Experience with DFSMS, DFHSM, and mainframe storage management.\n* Experience with z/OS version migrations, system automation, and disaster recovery.\n\nExperience:\n* z/OS /
