This is an excitingopportunity to shape the technical directionof a project with significant growth potential.Job Description We're seeking aseasoned Senior Python Backend Developerto join our team and play a pivotal role in building and scaling the product. This role involves working withFastAPIto create robust, high-performance APIs and integrating withAWSto ensure secure and scalable deployment. You'll work closely with our product and engineering teams to implement features, solve complex technical challenges, and contribute to the project's success.What we are primarily looking for is a track record of building things that work and passion to make a better product.Main ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and deployRESTful APIs using FastAPI.Architect and implementbackend services for scalability and performance.Integrate with AWS andoptimize infrastructure for reliability and cost-efficiency .Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with afocus on qualityand best practices.Participate in code reviews andmentor juniorteam members.Collaborate with cross-functional teamsto define, design, and implement new features.Troubleshoot and debug production issues, implementing necessary fixes and improvements.Core Requirements5+ yearsof experience in backend development withproficiency in Python .Advanced understandingof AWS cloud services (e.g. EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda).Good understandingof relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL) and experience of writing complex queries.Good working knowledgeof CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and version control systems.Experienceleveraging modern AI coding assistants and agentic tools to ship production code while keeping strong engineering judgment.ExperiencewithFastAPI and SQLAlchemyor similar frameworksis a plus .Experiencein Medtech or other regulated environmentsis a plus .Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong communication skills.So what's next?Review We will read carefully your submitted application.
