Senior Inventory Accountant - NAIP

Job DescriptionResponsibilities:Prepare month end journal entries to record inventory transactions, revaluation, PPV adjustments, absorption, SLOB and Book-To-Physical reserves, as well as additional entries as neededCoordinate monthly standard cost updateCoordinate with IBM (offshore team) to review and record inventory journal entriesSupport plant & divisional controllers including researching issues and preparing analyticsPrepare balance sheet account reconciliations for US balance sheet accountsFP&A Deliverables - Variances, Forecast, BudgetPrepare schedules needed for the quarterly BS analysisWork with teams on Intercompany related transactionsAd-hoc analytics and assist on projects as neededAssist with external audit needsBuild and develop relationships with key stakeholders across the companyRequirementsAccounting degreeExperience with manufacturing cost accounting and inventoryExperience with preparing account reconciliations and journal entries5+ years of accounting experience, including month end close; Big 4 a plusComfortable working in a Fast-Paced EnvironmentLarge ERP system (QAD a plus)Strong Excel skills a mustStrong attention to detailTeam player is a must with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
